Tashkent House of Photography hosted an exhibition of creative works “My army – my pride!” and an award ceremony for winners of the competition held within the framework of the exhibition.

The event, organized on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defender of the Motherland Day, was attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Defense, veterans of the Armed Forces, military personnel and members of their families, youth, representatives of the general public.

The exhibition featured about 70 photographs and selected creative works of 50 artists. Famous artists and creative figures, military personnel and members of their families, students presented their works in such thematic areas as demonstrating the potential of the Armed Forces, depicting military service and duty.

Jury members from among the professional artists recommended by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan determined the winners of the exhibition.

UzA photojournalist Okil Gulomov took the honorable 2nd place.
