Muynak melons and watermelons are exported to Kazakhstan
Products grown on the production pasture of Ajiniyoz Yaylovlari cooperative, formed to improve, increase pasture fertility, and develop animal husbandry in Qiziljar massif of Muynak district, are exported to neighboring Kazakhstan.
Watermelons and melons on 15 hectares, pumpkin on 3 hectares, and potatoes on 1 hectare were grown this year on the production pasture of the cooperative, which Nafisa Bayniyazova heads. 20 tons of watermelons and melons were exported to Kazakhstan’s Aktau. It is planned to export another 60-70 tons of products next week.
“Getting a good harvest depends on the soil’s composition and structure”, says Nafisa Bayniyazova. – We have virgin lands, so there is no need to fertilize the soil to grow melons and watermelons.
