Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with a member of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature, Kuwaiti musicologist Amir Jafar.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, Kamoliddin Urinbayev, who is in Kuwait as part of the Symphony Orchestra’s tour.

Amir Jafar is a famous Kuwaiti musicologist who has visited Uzbekistan several times. At the meeting, he emphasized that the concert of the Uzbekistan Symphony Orchestra, organized at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Centre, was highly appreciated by the Kuwaitis. It was noted that Kuwaiti musicians are interested in studying for master’s and postgraduate studies at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and want to use the vast experience of Uzbekistan musicians to improve their creativity.

In this regard, the practicality of signing relevant bilateral documents was noted.
