The Fergana Regional Puppet Theater presented Sergei Sedukhin’s “Musical Teahouse” as part of the 3rd International Festival of Puppet Theaters, Batumi Puppet Theater Festival, held from November 4 to 11 in Georgia’s Batumi.

The performance, filled with folklore music celebrating national traditions and values, was met with stormy applause from the audience.

Earlier, “Musical Teahouse” became the winner of the 29th International Children’s and Youth Theater Festival in Hamadan (Iran) in the nomination “Best Foreign Play”. The performance was also highly praised by critics and the audience as part of the V Light Wings Street Theater Festival, held in Kazan (Tatarstan).

Puppet theater troupes from Georgia, France, Moldova, Lithuania, Türkiye, the Czech Republic, Spain, and other countries are also taking part in the Batumi festival.
