Museum Week in Uzbekistan
In Uzbekistan, Museum Week is being held in museums under the auspices of the Cultural Heritage Agency.
During this week, a program will be implemented providing free access for citizens to 114 state museums within the Agency’s system.
Throughout the week, visitors will have the opportunity to explore unique exhibits and valuable collections belonging to the national museum fund and appreciate the rich historical and cultural heritage.

Of the 114 state museums, 37 are leading museums and 71 are branches, including 6 museum-reserves.
Based on collected data, a list of the museums most frequently visited by tourists has been compiled. This list includes: the Samarkand State Museum-Reserve, the Registan Architectural Ensemble, the State Museum “Glory”, the Bukhara State Museum-Reserve, and the State Museum-Reserve Ichan-Kala.
