The Museum of Communication History of Uzbekistan was founded October 24, 2009 and during that period has taken a worthy place among the renowned museums of our country.

It contains valuable information and unique exhibits on the development of postal, telegraph and telephone, mobile, radio, television, communication services and achievements of posts in the years of independence of Uzbekistan. In particular, visitors can see rare for today black and white TV titled “KVN-49”, as well as modern equipment. As it is known, the “telephot”, which served as the basis for the invention of TV, was invented in Tashkent.

Every year the museum replenished with new exhibits.

Museums play an important role in educating the young generation in the spirit of respect for the heritage of the great ancestors. The Museum of Communications History of Uzbekistan serves for this purpose.
