The first finalists of the Asian Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament, giving the right to participate in Tokyo Olympics, have been determined in Almaty.

Uzbekistan’s Muminjon Abdullayev, participating in the 130 kg weight category got a license for the Olympics.

M. Abdullayev beat all the opponents in the group and reached the semifinals, where he faced China’s Lingzhe Meng. He won the match and became the winner.

Unfortunately, another athlete from Uzbekistan Aram Vardanyan (67 kg) lost to his opponent from South Korea, while Jahongir Turdiyev (-97 kg) – the first match with an Iranian athlete.
