A three-day visit to Uzbekistan by partners from the Apennine Peninsula, organized by BMB HOLDING and the diplomatic mission of Italy in Uzbekistan, concluded successfully.

Delegation members discussed key issues such as the restoration of the Aral Sea, efficient water resource management, food security, and climate change adaptation.

A roundtable held on the second day of the visit at the Tashkent branch of the Turin Polytechnic University proved to be productive for both sides.

The event was attended by highly qualified specialists from Uzbekistan’s Ministries of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, Agriculture and Water Resources, and Health. The parties received detailed answers to their questions and outlined concrete areas for future cooperation.

The visit marked another important step in strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan and Italy. The agreements reached will serve as a solid foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial partnership.
