The construction of the tourism center “Silk Road Samarkand” is underway in Samarkand region to further increase the tourism potential.

Eight hotels, a congress hall, and the Eternal City caravanserai are currently being built in a complex with a total project cost of $381 thousand. Two 22-storey hotels are five-star, the rest are four-star.

A multidisciplinary service system will be established here. The Eternal City caravanserai will resemble the ancient cities of the country. Its appearance will reflect the traditions of architecture of the country’s people, types of applied art, motifs of the ancient bazaar. Here, travelers can taste a variety of dishes of national cuisine.
