There are 8210 cultural heritage sites in Uzbekistan, of which 7827 are state-owned and 383 are private.

According to the Statistics Agency, there are also 4,797 archaeological sites in Uzbekistan, the largest number of which are located in Kashkadarya region, namely 1,197 objects.

In the first five months of this year, 2589.2 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism. This figure is 1.9 times more than in the corresponding period of 2022.
