As of December 1, 2025, a total of 17,900 enterprises with foreign investment are operating nationwide, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Among them, 4,228 are joint ventures, while 13,762 are foreign-owned enterprises.

By sector of economic activity, the distribution is as follows:

Trade: 6,403 enterprises;

Industry: 3,706;

Construction: 1,389;

Information and communications: 1,377;

Accommodation and food services: 737;

Transportation and storage: 586;

Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries: 447;

Healthcare and social services: 209;

Other sectors: 3,046.
