Moscow hosted the Hand-to-Hand Fighting World Championship in the absolute weight category.
Uzbekistan’s Ilyos Komilov won the title and belt of world champion in the weight category over 73 kilograms for the second time in a row. While, Nilufar Polvanova won the women’s championships.


In addition, Azizkhan Abdullayev became a silver medalist in men’s championships (up to 73 kg), and Olimjon Nomurodov – a bronze medalist. Umida Abdullayeva, who competed in the weight category of +58 kilograms, was awarded a silver medal.
