A delegation led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Uztuqimachiliksanoat Association Davron Vakhobov visited Morocco.

Talks were held with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Morocco and the Moroccan Association of the Textile and Apparel Industries.

The Moroccan side highly appreciated the great success achieved in recent years in the development of Uzbekistan’s textile industry.

The possibilities of reducing customs duties and taxes, creating a legal framework for economic cooperation, using the Free Trade Agreements signed by Morocco with the countries of the European Union and West Africa to stimulate the export of yarn and fabrics to the Kingdom were discussed in detail.

The Moroccan side announced the intention of several enterprises of the Kingdom to take part in the International Exhibition of the Textile and Fashion Industry “UzTextileExpo Spring 2022” to be held in Uzbekistan in May.
