Sumalak, the main Holiday dish of Navruz, which was cooked all night in the Valley of Legends Park in the city of Namangan in a huge cauldron weighing 7 tons, was ready early in the morning.

All people of Fergana Valley have gathered here. Guests have arrived from all over the country and neighboring republics.

Performances of theatre teams, folklore ensembles, various creative groups, tightrope walkers give a special solemn atmosphere to the event. Folk games and various competitions are held.

75 soldiers and officers of the Gurumsaroy military unit came to celebrate the holiday and helped in the construction and landscaping activities carried out in Bunyodkor mahalla in the city of Namangan. All conditions were created for them to celebrate the holiday in high spirits.

The main dish of the celebration – sumalak with a total weight of 6 tons 200 kilograms, prepared by 20 women, was distributed to all the guests, to the Mehribonlik and Sakhovat houses.
