More than 20 states have confirmed participation in the II CIS Games. This was stated by the Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Kovalchuk, BelTA reports.

“The II CIS Games will solemnly open at the Minsk Arena in less than a month. These competitions will be held in a new format for the first time. 11 regions of Belarus will be represented. Guests will have the opportunity to visit every corner of Belarus. We opened these competitions for the first time, and in addition to nine member states, more than ten countries expressed their desire to participate in the event”, Sergey Kovalchuk said.

Competitions will be held at 21 sports grounds, where participants will compete in 20 sports.
