More than 16.1 million residents of Uzbekistan are fully vaccinated

The vaccination campaign against coronavirus in Uzbekistan began on April 1, 2021.

Only two types of vaccines, ZF-UZ-VAC2001 and Astra Zeneca were used in the first months. Now their number reaches seven.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, more than 62.3 million doses of the vaccine have been used to date.

Over 16.1 million people have been fully vaccinated. 14.2 million citizens were vaccinated with booster doses, contributing to the formation of mass immunity against COVID-19.

96.9 percent of the population of Uzbekistan are vaccinated with the first dose, and 75.3 percent are covered by the full course of vaccination.
