A Presidential resolution dated 14 March this year “On measures to further improve the work of secondary special education and vocational training establishments” is an important programme document in this sphere.
In Navoiy Region, too, consistent work is being carried out to ensure young graduates’ employment. Last year, 12 thousand 953 young specialists graduated from vocational colleges in Navoiy Region. About 15 billion soms worth of preferential credits have been allocated for 1 thousand 362 young specialists who expressed a desire to engage in entrepreneurial activity.
“The allocation of preferential credits by commercial banks for young people graduating from vocational college is an important factor in the creation of new jobs. Young entrepreneurs are setting up their own businesses, making a contribution to their families’ prosperity and creating jobs for their peers,” says O.Bobomurodov, chief of a section of the secondary special education and vocational training directorate of Navoiy Region.
At the Nurota vocational college of agriculture, more than 970 young people are studying in modern conditions. This year, more than 300 young specialists graduate from this educational establishment.
“We are very glad that the commercial bank has provided sewing machines for us. I am going to engage independently in sewing to make garments. Most importantly, the conditions of the preferential credits are fine by us, young people,” says Feruza Alimova, a graduate of the college.
This year, commercial banks are to allocate nearly 24 billion 500 million soms worth of preferential credits for the purpose of providing financial support for the entrepreneurial activity and business projects of vocational college graduates in the region.
