Farghona town’s place of veterans built on the basis of modern architecture requirements has been commissioned.
Farghona town’s place of veterans built on the basis of modern architecture requirements has been commissioned.Under the leadership of the President, special attention is being given to showing respect for elders, further improving their living conditions and providing social security for them.
This care and attention have found expression in the peaceful lives of the region’s elders. They say thanks for these bright days.
Their teachings serve to bring up young people in the spirit of love for the Motherland and devotion to ideas of national sovereignty.
A Presidential decree dated 28 December 2016 “On measures to further improve the activity of the Nuroniy foundation for the provision of social support for veterans in Uzbekistan” raises work in this area to a qualitatively new level.
In Farghona Region, too, a lot of work is being carried out to provide support and social protection for veterans and to show respect for them. Today special attention is being paid to providing free sanatorium treatment for more than 340 thousand labour veterans living in the region.
This new place of veterans built in the regional centre and the building of the Farghona town department of the Nuroniy foundation were Nowruz gifts for representatives of the older generation. In the opening ceremony of this building, representatives of state and public organizations, labour veterans, elders and representatives of the wider public participated.
This new social centre has beautiful balconies and ornamental columns created by such good craftspeople as Muhammad Yunusov.
At this place of veterans, all the necessary conditions have been created for elders. There are a library, a medical room, a gym, a chess and checkers club and a tea house here.
“Seeing this grand building made me really joyous. This is proof that in the Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests, everything is being done for the people,” says Isroil Bektemirov, a veteran teacher and laureate of the Shuhrat (glory) medal.
After the ceremony, a holiday function was arranged for veterans. Pleasant melodies were performed.
The hokim (governor) of Farghona Region, Sh.Ghaniyev, made a speech at the opening ceremony of the building.
