For the Border Troops of the National Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, large-scale work is also being carried out in the sphere of social protection and further improvement of the social-welfare conditions of military servicemen and their family members.

In a military housing area in Sharof Rashidov District of Jizzakh Region, a new apartment building has been commissioned for military servicemen and their family members. An event has been held on this occasion with the participation of military servicemen, representatives of state and public organizations and active people of the neighbourhood.

It was said at the event that special attention being paid under the leadership of the President of the country to providing comprehensive support for military servicemen and their family members and further improving their living conditions in the process of consistent reforms in the Armed Forces of the country was giving weighty results.

24 families of military servicemen were provided with housing in two one-storey buildings consisting of two apartments each and in a two-storey apartment building consisting of 20 apartments.

These buildings consisting of 2- and 3-room apartments were built with local climatic conditions taken into account.

“Seeing the joyfulness of my spouse and parents over the provision of this modern home, I once again felt proud that I chose the military profession. Conditions here are as good as conditions in towns. There are children’s playgrounds near the apartment building,” says junior sergeant Salohiddin Begmatov.
