Modern equipment and technologies to be introduced in young farmers’ activities

The Youth Press Club in Tashkent hosted a partnership meeting on “Foreign cooperation: prospects of introduction of modern equipment and technologies in young farmers’ activities”.
The meeting, organized by the Young Farmers Council of Uzbekistan, was attended by young farmers, specialists of the sphere, foreign experts and journalists.
At the meeting, agreements were reached with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency on effective use of rainfed lands, creation of nut and pistachio plantations, organization of training courses for young farmers, as well as with Japan International Cooperation Agency on improving young farmers’ skills, strengthening material-technical base of the sphere. Agreements were signed on technical cooperation with German Society for International Cooperation, issues of introduction of modern scientific achievements in Uzbekistan’s agriculture with the assistance of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe were discussed.
A presentation of young farmers, who have passed training courses abroad was held, as well as research projects created by students of Tashkent State Agrarian University were presented.
