Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov hosted an International Scientific-Technical Conference on the modern drivers of the economy.

The event, organized by Tashkent State Technical University in cooperation with the Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari JSC and other organizations, was attended by local and foreign scientists, professors and teachers, researchers, doctoral students, independent researchers, field specialists, undergraduates and bachelors.

The participants discussed research work in the following areas: the current state and prospects of energy, energy efficiency, the use of digital technologies, energy and resource saving, problems of heat and electricity, water and nuclear energy, alternative and renewable energy sources, environmental problems of energy.

Issues related to the construction of a nuclear power plant in Uzbekistan were also discussed.
