Modarikhon Madrasah will become a favorite place for tourists

“Ishga Markhamat” monocenter in the city of Bukhara organized a roundtable discussion at the Modarikhon Madrasah dedicated to September 27 – World Tourism Day.

The event was attended by artisans, monocenter employees and media representatives.

At the event, the need for taking priority measures for the intensive development of this cultural heritage infrastructure, the effective use of the facility, the creation of favorable conditions for the population, and the transformation of a historical monument into a potential tourism object was noted. It was also emphasized that it is necessary to prepare this place for tourists, increase the variety of exhibitions, develop appropriate projects and programs.

“Modarikhon Madrasah attracts tourists who are interested in the culture, history, ethnography and archeology of our country”, says Alikhan Umarov, Director of the “Ishga Markhamat” monocenter in Bukhara. – For this reason, this place in Bukhara was named “The Handicraft Center of the “Ishga Markhamat” monocenter. In the future, an urgent task is to study the directions of folk crafts from a practical point of view, the implementation of promising activities in a cultural object.
