Tashkent Metallurgical Plant signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (National Research Technological University “MISiS”) in personnel training.

During the event, which was attended by managers, specialists of TMP and responsible employees of MISiS and its branch in Almalyk, the issues of personnel training for TMP in connection with uniqueness of technological process of production and latest equipment that will be used here were discussed in detail.

Speaking at the event, the First Vice-Rector of MISiS, Doctor of Technical Sciences Sergey Salikhov noted that new metallurgical enterprise will become unique not only for Uzbekistan, but also for all countries of the post-soviet space. He noted that MISiS is ready to provide practical assistance in short and long term perspective in personnel training for Tashkent Metallurgical Plant. It was proposed to cooperate, the experience of which already exists in similar enterprises.

The options of theoretical short-term training in Almalyk branch of MISiS with involvement of teaching staff from the head university and professional development of current personnel in various directions were offered.
