The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Resolution “On the organization of the activities of the Ministry of Sports Development”.

Highly qualified specialists and experts from state bodies and other organizations, leading design institutes, scientific and educational institutions, international organizations and foreign companies will be involved in the ministry as consultants.

The activities of the Ministry of Sports Development are coordinated by the Deputy Prime Minister for Social Development.

According to the document, an extra-budgetary Sports Support Fund will be created under the Ministry of Sports Development.
