The Ministry of Public Education and the Asian Development Bank have signed a memorandum on the implementation of a project worth $100 million.

According to the Ministry of Public Education, it is planned to develop STEM education in schools for 7-11 graders.

The project envisages improving the system for assessing the knowledge of schoolchildren in Uzbekistan. It will be implemented under the business plan of country operations in Uzbekistan for 2020-2022, the latest government initiatives and the Concept for the development of the public education system in Uzbekistan until 2030.
