First Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Azamov attended the first meeting of the Ministers of Culture of India and Central Asia, via videoconference.

The participants considered the current state of cooperation in culture between Central Asian countries and India. The Uzbek side informed about the ongoing policy in culture and art.

The participants of the meeting proposed to develop a joint action plan with the inclusion of specific projects and activities aimed at qualitatively strengthening cultural cooperation in the India – Central Asia format.

Following the meeting, the heads of delegations unanimously approved the Joint Statement of the first meeting of the ministers of culture of India and Central Asia.
