The ministers of agriculture of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States arrived in Samarkand.

The Hokim of the region E. Turdimov met the ministers of agriculture of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States – Inam Karimov (Azerbaijan), Yerbol Karashukeyev (Kazakhstan), Askarbek Djanybekov (Kyrgyzstan) and Vahit Kirişci (Türkiye) at Samarkand Railway Station.

A brief meeting of the guests and the Hokim of the region took place. The development of comprehensive ties between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States was noted. It was emphasized that the activities carried out to further develop cooperation in agriculture will open up new opportunities for the sector.

The guests visited the mausoleum of Amir Temur, the Registan Square, the complexes of Imam Maturidi, Shakhi-Zinda, Mirzo Ulugbek, the tourist village of Konigil, the place of worship of Mahdumi Azam – places and monuments that testify to the rich cultural heritage and the huge potential of Uzbekistan people.
