During his visit to Finland, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met in Helsinki with the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nordic Investment Bank, André Küüsvek.

“Today in Helsinki, we held a productive meeting with the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nordic Investment Bank, Mr. André Küüsvek”, Mr. Saidov said. “During the conversation, we discussed issues of expanding cooperation, in particular the financing of projects in the fields of sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, and energy efficiency”.

The parties also considered the possibilities of the bank’s participation in priority investment initiatives aimed at supporting reforms in Uzbekistan and ensuring long-term economic growth.
