Minister of Energy: “Japanese companies are actively investing in Uzbekistan’s economy”
The first summit of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue marked an important milestone in relations between Uzbekistan and Japan and provided fresh impetus to strategic cooperation. During the meeting, energy was identified as a key area of bilateral cooperation.
The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, noted that in recent years, Japanese companies have significantly increased investment in the country’s energy sector. Particular attention is being paid to projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and advanced technological solutions.
