Minister of Education of Poland visits Samarkand

The Minister of Education of Poland, Barbara Nowacka, who arrived in Uzbekistan, visited Samarkand.

The guests, accompanied by the Minister of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan, got acquainted with the activities of the Presidential School in Samarkand.

The delegation members were very interested in the music performed by schoolchildren on national musical instruments and the exhibition of technical developments and inventions. The conditions created for students and teachers, classrooms, and laboratories for natural and exact sciences attracted the attention of the Polish Minister of Education.

Then, the delegation members visited the historical-cultural monuments and sights of the city. The first destination was the Gur-Emir Mausoleum. The guests were impressed with the detailed information about the history of the place, the socio-economic reforms carried out during the Timurid era, and the landscaping activities.

The guests also received detailed information about the history, culture, traditions, and customs of Uzbekistan while exploring the Registan Ensemble, the Mirzo Ulugbek Museum Complex, and other historical monuments.
