Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov visits the branch of Acharya University in Uzbekistan
Acharya University is one of the leading universities in India. Its branch is located in Karakul district.
The Minister got acquainted with the features of the branch and the conditions created for students and teaching staff and exchanged views on the organization of the educational process for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The branch was established in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Hokimiyat of Bukhara region, and Acharya University.
The primary attention at the University is paid to ICT studies. There are faculties of artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, business analysis, and others. The branch has been allocated 100 grant places. Each student is provided with a laptop for free, and the children of teachers and athletes are given benefits.
