20 million sums of profit have been received from 20 acres of greenhouse area in “Azizbek-Tohir” LLC of Mirzachul district. The collective of the limited liability company, consisting of 5 people, last year started the implementation of new projects in the sphere of growing agricultural products. The greenhouse, built at the expense of a loan from the People’s Bank in the amount of 60 million sums, brought a solid income in just one year.
320 lemon seedlings were planted in the greenhouse, tomatoes, Bulgarian pepper, cucumbers were planted between the rows, which also yielded a good harvest. In addition, cultivation and sale of flowers is established.
Tomatoes of “Bertha” variety are being grown these days in the greenhouse, corresponding to the soil and climatic conditions of the region. This variety, ripening in 70 days, is also known for its yield. The collective plans to sell tomatoes in the first month of winter.
The income received by the collective will make it possible not only to repay the loan, but also to expand activities. At present, the collective is preparing for further expansion of the greenhouse, starting the cultivation of oranges.
