Military security issues discussed

Representatives of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization met to discuss the issue of ensuring military security on the territory of the organization.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the online meeting was attended by the chiefs of staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, the head of the CSTO joint headquarters, as well as representatives of the defense agencies of the member states of the organization.

Such important areas as ensuring military security within the organization, as well as improving mechanisms to combat the crisis, organizing international flights of the Armed Forces of the CSTO member states were considered. The parties approved a joint plan for training the governing bodies of the CSTO collective security system in 2022.
