The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan has organized an event timed to the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces and Defenders of the Motherland Day.

At the event, the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General A.Kuldashev, congratulated veterans and military personnel on the holiday.

In accordance with the Presidential Decree, state awards were presented to the servicemen in a solemn atmosphere, as well as badges of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Manaviy-Marifiy Ishlar Alochisi”, “Tumaris”, ministries – “Alo Hizmatlari Uchun”, commemorative wristwatches and a badge, certificates of honor and regular military ranks were awarded.

In the event’s artistic part, the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations orchestra performed songs glorifying Motherland.

Following the event, the documentary “The Rescuer”, shot in collaboration with the Cinematography Agency, was shown, dedicated to the difficult everyday life of rescuers and their courage in emergency situations.

The film chronicles the most significant emergencies of recent years and the process of their elimination by rescuers.
