Specialists of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducted a training seminar at the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The training was organized within the framework of the ongoing project on international cooperation in the military sphere. The training sessions were conducted by representatives of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Major-General Valif Mamadov, Professors Takhir Allahyarov, Geydar Jefarov, Agil Makhmuradov and others.

In January 2017, the Head of the state visited Tashkent Higher Combined Arms Command School, gave instructions on establishment of an entirely new Academy of the Armed Forces on the basis of this school. According to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, activities of the Academy of the Armed Forces were reorganized.

The theoretical and practical training sessions that lasted for a week were full of interesting discussions.
