Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with the Ambassador of Pakistan Ahmad Farooq.

According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade (MIIT), the parties considered prospects for developing bilateral relations and issues of further intensification of cooperation. In particular, the positive dynamics of bilateral trade between the two countries observed in recent years were noted.

Prospects for the development of cooperation in transport and logistics were considered. An increase in the volume of cargo transportation by almost five times in recent years was noted. An agreement was reached on the mutual adoption of measures to utilize the existing potential, considering transport infrastructure development fully.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on a format for further interaction to implement planned and new joint projects practically. They confirmed their desire to deepen trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
