The Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with representatives of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).

The parties discussed the prospects for the participation of a Chinese company in the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan in the construction of urban and transport infrastructure.

The Chinese side expressed interest in joint work in these areas with the introduction of innovative developments and best practices. In turn, the Uzbek side expressed readiness to support investment initiatives and further activities of the Chinese company in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to continue cooperation on the preparation of joint projects.
