Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has met with the Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi.

According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties discussed issues of cooperation, in particular, the progress in implementing the program to improve the efficiency of public administration, which has been implemented jointly with the UAE since 2019.

The parties welcomed the beginning of practical cooperation between the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs of the UAE and the Strategic Development Agency of Uzbekistan, established this year.

This was evidenced by the launch of the Young Leaders Program, in which the heads of the delegations of the two countries took part.

At the initial stage, 22 representatives of various agencies of the country took part in the program, who were pre-selected according to the relevant criteria for qualifications and personal qualities.

Following the talks, the parties expressed their commitment to further cooperation in the implementation of the program and agreed to work together to deepen the mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
