Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with the Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Charlotte Adriaen.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the current state and promising areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union, the implementation of previously reached agreements was considered at the event.

The parties discussed organizational aspects of the upcoming events at various levels, including in the formats “Uzbekistan – EU” and “Central Asia – EU”.

The readiness of the parties to strengthen cooperation in tourism, education and ecology, including through the implementation of joint projects, was confirmed.

Views were exchanged on certain issues of international and regional agenda.
