The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland Konstantin Obolensky.

Prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland and planned joint bilateral events were discussed.

The parties noted the importance of further strengthening mutually beneficial relations, intensifying cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached on enhancing interaction in various fields, in particular, in professional education, advanced training of civil servants, textiles and others.
