The Ministry of Finance hosted an event to announce the winner of the tender for the project “Construction of sewage treatment facilities based on public-private partnership in the city of Namangan”.

Information was provided about the tender and the significance of the project.

The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, JSC Uzsuvtaminot and the Public-Private Partnership Development Agency with the support of the Asian Development Bank in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On additional measures for the development of drinking water supply and sewerage systems in the Republic of Uzbekistan” of November 30, 2018.

According to the submitted financial proposals, the amount of payment for availability from Metito Utilities Limited is 97.5 billion UZS, and from Almar Water Solutions BV – 103.1 billion UZS.

At the event, the opinions of the members of the interdepartmental tender commission were heard, which recognized the winner of the tender for this project Metito Utilities Limited (the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), which offered the lowest price for the availability fee according to the financial proposal – an annual payment of $9 million.
