The event was attended by war and labor veterans, general public. The opening ceremony of the Memory Square and Sorrowful Mother Monument, erected in memory of our compatriots, those who were killed during the war, has taken place.

Construction, repair and improvement activities are being carried out in all district centers of the region, including 54 social facilities, services and infrastructure of Uchtepa town.

Publication of “Living in hearts” book about famous peoples’ life of the district became another good deed on the occasion of the Day of Memory and Honor.

The festive event ended with a demonstration of march and soldiers’ performances.

Jizzakh region’s khokim E.Soliyev delivered a speech at the event.
