At the conference “Islamic Heritage of Uzbekistan”, held in Bukhara as part of the International Week of Pilgrimage Tourism, the Hokimiyat of Bukhara region signed memorandums of understanding with the Islamic Tourism Center (ITC), the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia, the World Sufi Center (WSC), the Supervisory Board International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy of the United Arab Emirates, as well as with the Emirati writer Nasser al-Dhaheri.

The forum is aimed to increase the tourism potential of the country and rationally use the opportunities of pilgrimage tourism.

As part of the event, foreign guests, religious scholars and researchers visited the mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshband.
