Paris hosted a working meeting with the participation of the Chairperson of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan Gayane Umerova and the General Manager of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture Luis Monreal.

Following the talks, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. The document is intended to strengthen bilateral cooperation in architectural heritage, museum education, and heritage management.

The institutions plan to launch several significant projects to restore cultural objects, improve the skills of restorers, museum curators, and heritage specialists, and create a center for conducting research in architectural heritage.

The Aga Khan Trust for Culture successfully implements urban and historical revitalization programs worldwide.
