On October 25, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodik Safoyev met with the Secretary General of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States Dmitriy Kobitskiy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The need for strengthening integration in science in the Commonwealth of Independent States was emphasized.

In turn, Dmitriy Kobitskiy noted the interest in expanding the assistance of experts in the field of model legislation and election observation – the main direction of work of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

At the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the CIS Parliamentary Assembly. The parties noted that this document will serve to strengthen cooperation in the sphere of education.
