The meeting of the Union of Turkic World Universities of the Organization of Turkic States (TURKUNIB) was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism in Samarkand.

At the event, views were exchanged on the issues of enhancing and strengthening academic cooperation, exchanging experience and knowledge, and developing joint research programs.

“We aim to develop common educational standards in the member universities of the Union of Turkic World Universities”, says Sadi Jafarov, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States. – To ensure quality education, it is necessary to improve educational standards. The possibilities of student exchange, the creation of practical programs, and the allocation of scholarships for exchange will be studied.

The meeting was attended by representatives and experts of 50 universities of the Union of Turkic World Universities member countries.

The participants discussed strengthening collaboration between members of the Union of Turkic World Universities, development of education, and organization of scientific research.
