The Dakara variety melons, planted in early March between rows of pomegranate saplings on 8 hectares of the Yormat Botirov LLC farm in Sherabad district, have ripened.

According to the district Hokimiyat, 7-8 tons of sweet and fragrant melons are harvested per hectare.

Part of the harvest is exported, while the rest is sold locally.
