The Tenth International Festival of Chamber Orchestras, Orchestras of National Instruments, and Polyphonic Ensembles opened at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

Director General of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan Anvar Tojiboyev, Rector of the Institute of National Variety Art named after Batyr Zakirov Avaz Mansurov, noted that such creative projects play an essential role in further developing our musical art.

In accordance with the festival program, on March 25-26, the jury will evaluate the performances of all groups. Many ensembles from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are participating in the festival.

It will include an exhibition of national instruments and masterclasses on conducting and instrumental performance.

On March 26, a joint concert “Bridges of Friendship” will be held by the “Sugdiyona” chamber orchestra of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan and the Bad Vilbel chamber orchestra, which arrived from Germany.

On March 27, the festival winners will be awarded, and a gala concert will take place.
