Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov held several meetings within the framework of ICTWeek Uzbekistan-2022.

The issues of BPO development in Uzbekistan were discussed with representatives of the American company Effica Corp. A memorandum was signed between a resident of the RevoTech IT Park and the American company Effika Corp on the provision of outsourcing services in the insurance sector for 2023 worth $20 million.

The Minister met with the Chief of Digital Government at the United Nations Vincenzo Aquaro, who thanked the Uzbek side for publishing the UN Research: E-Government 2022 and noted that he translated the results of the study into Russian. Issues of enhancing cooperation and further steps to increase the e-government index of Uzbekistan were also discussed at the meeting.
