A meeting with the World Bank expert Teklu Tesfaye took place at the State Committee of Veterinary and Livestock Development.

The parties exchanged views on the work carried out within the framework of the first stage of the Livestock Sector Development Project in Uzbekistan, implemented jointly with the World Bank, as well as on prospects for future effective projects.

Measures taken to support farmers and dehkan farms, as well as agricultural enterprises, further reform and development of livestock sector were discussed.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on the following stages of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
